Equestrian at SNU

Southern Nazarene University's Equestrian Center is committed to furthering the education of men and women looking for a career in the Equine Industry. Our students begin in basic horsemanship classes and quickly move into more advanced and increasingly focused fields of study. We thank you for visiting our official site and want to inform you that it is still under construction, so keep checking in for updates. Thanks again for your interest in our Equine Program.

SNU features a unique, personalized equestrian atmosphere. The SNU equestrian team competes at local and regional IHSA events. Our small, close-knit team allows all of our riders the opportunity to compete and excel in a Christ centered environment. Our program focuses on not only developing riding skills but also building character and confidence.

Under the supervision of Ms. Megan Parker, the Equestrian Center employs students to carry out day-to-day operations and maintenance of the facilities. Employment opportunities at the center provide students an environment to learn first hand the practical aspects of facility management and horse care.
