Why give to SNU? 

Committed faculty and staff invest in SNU throughout the year. A few have told us why.

Paul communicates to the church that God’s people are being used for one purpose - yet each of us has unique functions and gifts.

The diverse tasks that we complete as Faculty and Staff keep Southern Nazarene University moving, and faithful stewardship keeps us moving forward, supporting students through scholarships, and sending students to serve.

This year, recognizing that you have unique interests and passions, four distinct areas are being highlighted as options where your gift can make a difference.

The SNU Fund – Scholarships for today (for every $1 a student is awarded in scholarships it saves them $1.40 in loan repayments)

The Angel Fund – Emergency assistance for students that may not be able to stay in school because of family emergency and need.

The Campaign for the Sciences – Be part of the future in the sciences and make a gift toward our new Science laboratory.

Student Missions Trips – Help a student answer the call of God and go to one of the summer mission areas of service (Haiti, Swaziland, Peru)

Last year’s campaign showed huge growth in participation with 40% of staff and 67% of faculty making a gift to SNU. Your participation is the only way that we can hope to reach our goal of 100% participation.

When we give, our generosity carries significant weight, as it can become the foundation on which our appeals are made to alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations…

You can give in one of the following ways:
- By authorizing a payroll deduction (request form by emailing snugiving@mail.snu.edu)
- Give securely online (https://webapps.snu.edu/secure/donations)
- Give by check or credit card at the business office

Gifts to the SNU Fund or other designated fund can be spread over many months and conveniently made by payroll deduction. See how any amount can add up throughout the year!!
