Give to the SNU Fund - Support Students at SNU

Everybody, Every Year.

Your gifts to the SNU Fund make the difference for our students.

They always have. They always will.

SNU Faculty and Staff,

Did you know any taxable gift you give during the fiscal year counts toward our Faculty and Staff participation percent, which helps us when applying for grants or pursuing large donations?

Your dedication to the students and knowledge in your field is noticed and appreciated. And your influence does not stop there. Your financial participation can often inspire others to give, as well.

Any amount counts!  You can give online, through payroll deduction or by sending a check to SNU Fund. There are many other funds that you can support, such as mission trips, existing scholarships or any other gift given to SNU. For additional options, please feel free to contact me or others in the University Advancement Office.

Thank you for making SNU a community that embodies Christ.

Superheroes of Southern Nazarene University

Why give to SNU?

Committed faculty and staff invest in SNU throughout the year. A few have told us why.

“I invest in a place that has invested in me. I was transformed from this timid and shy guy to a more confident and well-rounded individual. I believe we all have the opportunity to give to something. I CHOOSE TO GIVE TO SNU. Someone has to invest in tomorrow leaders. Why not me.“ – SNU Staff Member

“I give because I believe in Christian higher education, specifically the community and opportunities that no other type of higher ed institution purposely provides. I want to assist as many young adults as I can in attending and experiencing what SNU uniquely offers.” - SNU Faculty Member

“Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ”
1 Corinthians 12:12

Paul communicates to the church that God’s people are being used for one purpose - yet each of us has unique functions and gifts.

The diverse tasks that we complete as Faculty and Staff keep Southern Nazarene University moving, and faithful stewardship keeps us moving forward, supporting students through scholarships, and sending students to serve.

This year, recognizing that you have unique interests and passions, four distinct areas are being highlighted as options where your gift can make a difference.

The SNU Fund – Scholarships for today (for every $1 a student is awarded in scholarships it saves them $1.40 in loan repayments)

The Angel Fund – Emergency assistance for students that may not be able to stay in school because of family emergency and need.

The Campaign for the Sciences – Be part of the future in the sciences and make a gift toward our new Science laboratory.

Student Missions Trips – Help a student answer the call of God and go to one of the summer mission areas of service (Haiti, Swaziland, Peru)

Last year’s campaign showed huge growth in participation with 40% of staff and 67% of faculty making a gift to SNU. Your participation is the only way that we can hope to reach our goal of 100% participation.

When we give, our generosity carries significant weight, as it can become the foundation on which our appeals are made to alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations…

Our goal is 100% participation during our Faculty Staff Giving Campaign. Take part in the challenge today!

You can give in one of the following ways:
- By authorizing a payroll deduction (request form by emailing
- Give securely online (
- Give by check or credit card at the business office
