To receive this scholarship, the student must certify his/her ministry assignment by submitting a letter from the immediate ministry supervisor (senior pastor or district superintendent).

In most cases, regularly assigned missionaries in the Church of the Nazarene may also receive a tuition scholarship of 50% of the tuition charge. Questions concerning details or eligibility for this scholarship should be directed to the Theology and Ministry Office.

HOW TO APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) either on the web at www.fafsa.ed.gov or paper form, using your federal income tax return for 2005. If completing online, please code your app by typing GS (Graduate Studies) at the end of your first address line. Please contact our office if you need a paper FAFSA sent to you. When applying, also use our school code: 003149

After completing the FAFSA, contact our office at 405-491-6685 to request other forms that must be mailed to you for completion: Resource Worksheet, Master Promissory Note, and Entrance Counseling Form. A tax return may be requested if you are selected for verification by the Federal Processor.

A Financial Aid Award Letter will be mailed to you along with the above forms, after your eligibility has been determined. The letter will outline the amount you are eligible for in any given semester. Graduate students are not eligible for the Pell grant.

Apply for financial aid early. Make sure that all necessary information is provided four (4) weeks before classes begin.

For convenience, a payment plan is available for students who request it. Information is available at gradstudiesFA@snu.edu.
