BETHANY, OK – Tammy Hughes, president of the Heim Group, will speak at this year’s first Peer Learning Network (PLN) seminar at Southern Nazarene University, on Thursday, October 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Royce Brown Business Building, located off NW 39th Expressway and Peniel.
Hughes leads an internationlly recognized consulting firm specializing in management and organizational services. Her unique expertise in the area of gender differences equips women and men for individual and organizational success. These skills have been honed through more than 18 years by training countless numbers throughout the U.S. and around the globe.
Along with CEO Pat Heims, Ph.D., Hughes spear headed the design of the highly successful presentation, “GenderSpeak.” The presentation helps both men and women comprehend the rules of the other gender and value these differences. Through lessons about “appropriate” behaviors, men and women learn to communicate and work as a team more effectively in the work place.
Hughes has served clients such as McDonalds, Proctor & Gamble, TGI Friday’s, G.E., BP, CB Richard Ellis, Adventist Health, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Castrol, Equity Office, and Wells Fargo. Having earned the title of “Master Instructor,” Hughes is responsible for the training and certification of all new “GenderSpeak” facilitators.
Established in 1995, the Peer Learning Network (PLN), under the directorship of the Zig Ziglar Center for Ethical Leadership at Southern Nazarene University, brings together the CEO and leadership teams of Oklahoma-based companies who have committed to be Major Partners in the Peer Learning Network. Partners utilize PLN for the purpose of professional development.
