AAUW/Laughbaum Scholarship

  • Established and funded by the Oklahoma City Chapter of the AAUW in honor of Dr. Anna Belle Laughbaum
  • Restricted to upper-division Junior or Senior female students wishing to return following a ‘stop-out’ or ‘drop-out’ phase in their education.
  • Must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA

ASP (Academy of Senior Professionals) Scholarship

  • Established and funded by members of the SNU Academy of Senior Professionals
  • Any classification, in-coming freshman must have been above the Top 50 percentile to be eligible, and upper-division recipients must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Students must have a written set of goals, and be willing to attend an annual ASP meeting

Our Nazarene Heritage

Founded in 1899, Southern Nazarene University is a private, Christian, liberal arts university - a service of the Church of the Nazarene. Located on a 40-acre campus just west of Oklahoma City, SNU grew out of several small colleges committed to training people for service to God and their fellow man.
