Google App Icon
If you would like a desktop "icon" for your SNU Gmail account, you can install a Google App that will do this.
First, you need to install the Google Chrome browser found at http://www.google.com/chrome
You don't need to make it the default browser since you may only want to use it for your email.
After you have installed Chrome, click on the following link and install the SNU Google Email App:

You will find an icon on your desktop that looks like a red & white envelop and says "mail.snu.edu Email". Click on this and you can login to your email and stay logged in. You can copy the icon to your taskbar if you like.
