Admissions - Southern Nazarene University, Bethany, Oklahoma

The best way to get a glimpse into the life of a college student on the campus of SNU is to experience it for yourself, and we do our best to make sure you see it all.

Individual visits are available Monday - Friday, with the exception of holidays or group visit days (which limit the availability of our admissions staff).  We arrange your personalized SNU experience to include everything you want to see.

Our summer visits feature a tour and appointments with admissions and financial aid counselors.  During the academic year we include the option to attend class or chapel, an appointment with a professor in your area of interest, and a meeting with a coach (if interested in playing on one of our athletic teams).

Counselor Appointments/Interview
Your counselor will help you understand the University’s admission process. First, you'll get a brief introduction to the University and a chance to ask preliminary questions.  The counselor will also escort you to appointments around campus and conclude with you at the end of the day.  You'll leave with all of the counselor’s contact information so you can contact them anytime after you leave.

Campus Tours
Next, you'll get a tour from an expert - a current SNU student!  You'll have plenty of chances to ask questions about campus life as you stroll through the academic buildings, residence halls, and student center. If we don't have time to show you every building, please feel free to ask about any others that are important to you.

Appointments with Faculty, Staff, or Athletic Coaches
Meeting with a specific person in your area of interest provides an opportunity to get the detailed information you’re looking for. If you would like to make an appointment to meet with a coach, coaches require a completed athlete questionnaire prior to scheduling an appointment.

Classroom Visits
This is a chance to observe a college class in action. Depending on the day, you might even be included in the classroom activities. You are also welcome to approach the professor after class and introduce yourself.  They love visitors!
