STEPS TO ADMISSION, International Students
FRESHMAN
- Complete the Admission Form (Sections I, II, III & V).
- Send official transcripts and/or education credentials.
- Submit TOEFL results. The TOEFL institutional code for SNU is 6036. A score of 173 on the computer-based exam, 61 on the Internet-based exam, or 500 on the paper-based exam is required for admission. For graduate and nursing school students, a score of 213 on the computer-based exam, 79-80 on the Internet-based exam, or 550 on the paper-based exam is required for admission.
*If you don’t have a TOEFL, you may first enroll in our Center for Applied Studies in English (ASEC) at SNU.
- A financial statement of support should be submitted indicating how tuition, school fees, and living expenses will be paid while you are enrolled in college.
- Submit ACT or SAT results if taken.
- Carefully read, sign, and submit the Statement of Understanding.
- Send copies of your passport.
- Complete the Registration Form.
TRANSFER
- Complete the Admission Form (Sections I, II, III & V).

RE-ADMISSIONS

GRADUATE
- Complete the Graduate Admission Form.
- Submit official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work.

YOU MUST SUBMIT ABOVE ITEMS 1-7, BEFORE FINAL ADMISSION MAY BE GRANTED OR AN I-20 ISSUED. Please complete item 8 before arriving on campus.
APPLICATIONS FOR FALL SEMESTER MUST BE COMPLETE BY MARCH 1 AND APPLICATIONS FOR SPRING SEMESTER MUST BE COMPLETE BY SEPTEMBER 1.
