STEPS TO ADMISSION, International Students

FRESHMAN

  1. Complete the Admission Form (Sections I, II, III & V).
  2. Send official transcripts and/or education credentials.
  3. Submit TOEFL results. The TOEFL institutional code for SNU is 6036. A score of 173 on the computer-based exam, 61 on the Internet-based exam, or 500 on the paper-based exam is required for admission. For graduate and nursing school students, a score of 213 on the computer-based exam, 79-80 on the Internet-based exam, or 550 on the paper-based exam is required for admission. *If you don’t have a TOEFL, you may first enroll in our Center for Applied Studies in English (ASEC) at SNU.
  4. A financial statement of support should be submitted indicating how tuition, school fees, and living expenses will be paid while you are enrolled in college.
  5. Submit ACT or SAT results if taken.
  6. Carefully read, sign, and submit the Statement of Understanding.
  7. Send copies of your passport.
  8. Complete the Registration Form

 

TRANSFER

  1. Complete the Admission Form (Sections I, II, III & V).
  2. Send official transcripts of all college and university work.
  3. *Only students transferring from an international university need to submit TOEFL results. The TOEFL institutional code for SNU is 6036. RE-ADMISSIONS

  2. Submit official transcripts of all college and university work since leaving SNU.
  3. A financial statement of support should be submitted, indicating how tuition, school fees, and living expenses will be paid while you are enrolled in college.

 

GRADUATE

  1. Complete the Graduate Admission Form.
  2. Submit official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work.
  3. Submit TOEFL results. The TOEFL institutional code for SNU is 6036. For graduate school students, a score of 213 on the computer-based exam, 79-80 on the Internet-based exam, or 550 on the paper-based exam is required for admission. *If you don’t have a TOEFL, you may first enroll in our Center for Applied Studies in English (ASEC) at SNU.

YOU MUST SUBMIT ABOVE ITEMS 1-7, BEFORE FINAL ADMISSION MAY BE GRANTED OR AN I-20 ISSUED. Please complete item 8 before arriving on campus.

APPLICATIONS FOR FALL SEMESTER MUST BE COMPLETE BY MARCH 1 AND APPLICATIONS FOR SPRING SEMESTER MUST BE COMPLETE BY SEPTEMBER 1.
