Calling from Mexico
Cell phone users: Your U.S. cell phone may work in Mexico, but roaming and other charges are considerably more than they are in the U.S. more info
If you plan to call the U.S. from Mexico, we suggest that you take AT&T long-distance phone cards with you or that you purchase phone cards in Mexico.
To use AT&T calling cards, dial the Mexico toll free number ( 001-800-462-4240). Then, say "AT&T." Dial the 800 number on the back of the card followed by the card's PIN number. Finally, dial the U.S. area code and the phone number you wish to call. This must be done from a lobby phone as there likely will be an extra charge to do this from your room.
Please note: a 120-minute AT&T card will only yield a few minutes on an international call.
