There will be construction, VBS activities and evangelistic services plus soccer camps and free medical clinics.
Mission Alamo
Ministry components: Construction, Children's Ministry, Medical, and Soccer.
At this site the construction team will be helping to dig and pour cement for the parsonage. This Church is truly a Children's church. They feed and minister to 50 to 60 kids every Sunday during their Caravan Club. They gathering more people that would be able to go out into the neighborhood and invite children, and they are excited to have American friends come and help them. The medical team would visit one day, unless we have more than one medical team. As far as the soccer ministry team, this church has just started soccer teams that play under their newly roofed dirt soccer field.
Iglesia Bella Vista
Ministry components: Construction, Medical, and Soccer evangelism.
The church has two projects and thus a little larger team would work. The team will be working on adding another room to the parsonage and dividing the current fellowship hall or annex into two spaces. The Medical team would be used here for at least a day if not more. Soccer Evangelism will be used here to draw for kids and teens in.
Fuentes de Agua Viva in Hermanas
Ministry components: Soccer Evangelism, Children's Ministry, Medical, and Construction.
I know that part of what the construction team would be doing is demolishing! They need to tear down a room connected to the bathrooms in the back of the property so that they can rebuild. This Church is also prepare to lead the Children's ministry but need our American brothers and sisters to attract people to the church. there is a local park where the Soccer Ministry will be held.
Casa Hogar Galilea - Orphanage
Ministry components: Construction, Medical, and Children's Ministry.
They are in need of some electricians to work on basically rewiring the 7 or 8 buildings they have. They must do this in order to be in compliance with the safety and health department or they will be shut down. There is some ceiling that needs to be torn down and replaced with Sheetrock and painted. This site already has an infirmary and thus it will be used when the medical team comes through. The orphanage is opening up to the local community on the day the Medical team arrives. While there will be locals from some of the churches there to help, the Children's Ministry team would probably plan and be ready to play with kids, sing with them, do some crafts with them, and generally just love on them.
The Retirement Center
Ministry components: Construction and Ministry.
The Construction team will be helping to move dirt and supplies onto the roof, then help with hauling cement up so that they masons can finish making the roof waterproof. The masons can probably teach anyone who is willing what else needs to be done to finish. They are also in need of Adult diapers. The Ministry team that will be utilized here can honestly almost be just a Children's Ministry team. They need people who can interact and play with these grandparents. We want to set and talk with them, sing with them, play Loteria or Bingo.
Fuenta de Paz- Mission
Ministry components: Construction, Soccer, and Medical.
As far as Construction, I am still waiting to hear the final request, but I know that they were wanting to stucco the outside of the church and more than likely paint it. There is a field near the church that will be for Soccer and to draw kids and teens to play and hear the Word. Finally, we will bring a medical team out to this site and invite the community.

"On Sunday the medical group went to Muizquiz and joined in their service. At "meet and greet time," everyone in the church shook EVERYONE'S hand. Normally you just shake the hands of the people around you, but they made it a special point to welcome and show everyone that they are loved. Then everyone who had had a birthday had to stand in front of the church while everyone sang to them and then lined up and hugged them each individually. After the service, the medical group was asked to stand up front, and we were all hugged and kissed by the people in the church.
"All of this just showed how close of a community the people in the church were and how much they loved each other. They made each other and us feel welcomed, loved, needed, and wanted. It was amazing to see that kind of love in action."
