ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

Christy Kiespert
Christy Kiespert - Music Performance, Piano alumni from Southern Nazarene University, Bethany Oklahoma
Currently: Runs her own piano teaching studio

Responsibilities: Teaches piano lessons to about 50 different students ranging in age from kindergarten to adults. Each student takes weekly lessons that range from 30 to 90 minutes, performs for their peers during a monthly studio class and participates in two recitals per year. In addition, Kiespert runs a week-long piano camp for 1st through 5th grade students each summer.

In Her Words: “SNU was an integral part of the journey He had for me. The staff, faculty and students there were willing to serve Him in ministry as part of their daily interaction with me. In particular, my private piano instructor, Dr. Steve Betts, was a constant source of wisdom and grace. His faithfulness to serve God planted seeds that are still sprouting in my life.”
