Southern Nazarene University (SNU) welcomes students to campus for the Music Scholars Weekend taking place from February 28 – March 1, 2014.
In the course of two days, those attending observe classes and rehearsals, perform in a Scholars-only recital to compete for scholarship money, meet current students and music faculty, and attend the School of Music’s production of “A Night of Sondheim.”
The SNU faculty will connect students to the profession. Mentors will connect students with internships and performance opportunities to build a resume and give real-world experience.
Southern Nazarene University’s mission is to transform lives through higher education in a Christ-centered community. As a Christian community of scholars, we model the hospitality of grace, the pursuit of truth and the practice of discipleship, all within the Wesleyan-holiness tradition, as we prepare graduates who THINK with clarity, ACT with integrity and SERVE with purpose.
