Bachelor of Arts Philosophy Degree
According to the latest data on the Graduate Record Examination, undergraduate philosophy students score first in verbal reasoning and analytic writing. They also score very high in quantitative reasoning. Philosophy majors also score among the top five of all disciplines in the Law School Admission Test, being competitive with physics, economics and engineering majors. Students working toward this degree will graduate with the understanding of the method and subject matter of philosophy, have a love of truth and a desire for an enriched life. They will be able to resolve oppositions of skepticism and dogmatism by investigating all experiences. In addition, they will know what and how to question, and be able to evaluate life to determine its worth and meaning in the light of philosophical, scientific, and religious truth.
