Physics and Other Programs

In addition to the 32-hour Physics course of study, Physics majors typically earn a minor or second major in another field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Studies, or Business. Such choices arise for diverse reasons, including graduate study in Physics, graduate study in other fields that use physics (such as radiology) or other forms of mathematical modeling (e.g., actuarial science), or to pursue engineering careers, which often develop into industrial management roles.
