SNU Preview Visit

For High School Juniors and Seniors


Friday, March 6, 2020


Regular Programming: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Afternoon Activity: 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Evening Activity: 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.


At SNU Preview, students will:

  • Attend a class
  • Connect with faculty in their academic area of interest
  • Tour the campus
  • Investigate financial aid and scholarship opportunities
  • Find out how SNU can prepare you for a career or graduate school

Afternoon Activity (optional, yet so much fun it is strongly encouraged):

  • Watch SNU baseball take on Henderson State
  • Note: An afternoon snack and dinner will be provided for all students that participate in the afternoon activity.

Evening Activity (optional):

  • SNU School of Music will be performing the musical, Mary Poppins (Tickets are complementary for SNU Admissions Preview Day guests)

March 6th Preview Day Schedule (Tentative):

  • 8:30-9am: Registration in the Webster Commons (building #25 on the campus map)
  • * Feel free to park in any SNU parking lot, the closest parking is North of building #20
  • 9-10am: Welcome / Student and Parent Programming
  • 10am: Students - Attend Classes/Campus Tours
  • 10am: Parents - Parent Specific Programming / Campus Tours
  • 11am: Lunch
  • Noon: Students - Attend Classes/Campus Tours
  • Noon: Parents - Individual Financial Aid Appointments
  • 1pm: Departmental Meetings for Students and Parents
  • 1:45-2pm: Students and Parents - Visit Wrap-up
  • 2pm - Baseball Game (transportation provided for students)
  • 2-5pm: Parents - Attend Baseball Game, Explore Bethany, OKC, SNU University Store, OKC Outlets, etc
  • 5:15-6pm: Dinner in the Commons
  • 7pm: SNU School of Music performs Mary Poppins
  • 9pm: Departure From Campus (estimated time)
