*NEW* Early Admissions Deadline for August Bethany Group
Due to increasing demand in our Graduate Programs in Counseling, we are now offering two admissions deadlines for the upcoming August, 2013 group in Bethany.
The first deadline, our “Early Admissions Deadline”, will be March 1st, 2013. Those interested in applying early may submit all application materials to ssecor@snu.edu by the 1st of March. If you have all of your application materials in, we will then contact you the first week of March to schedule your interview time. From there, we will make our admissions decisions and inform early applicants of their admissions status by the middle of March. We will not fill up the class at that time, but will begin accepting students into the program. If you are not accepted at this time, your materials will be re-evaluated in June and a final decision will be made on your admissions status.
If you are unable to get your materials in by March 1st, you may still apply at the “Regular Admissions Deadline” set for June 1st, 2013. We will then contact you the first week of June to schedule your interview. We will then make final decisions on your admissions status in the middle of June, make decisions about those we are re-evaluating from March, fill out the class, and notify you of your admissions status.
Group Sizes
Each group will have a minimum of 12 students and no more than 22 students. The average group will consist of 14 to 18 students. Students interested in the program must complete the admissions checklist and interview process. Selection of group members will take place shortly after each of the potential members are interviewed and students will be informed within the next month regarding whether they have been accepted to the program.
Graduation
For the 60-hour MSCP, MAMFT 12-hour extension, and MAMFT-Child Therapy track degrees, students will graduate approximately 2 ½ years from their start date. For the 48-hour MAMFT program, students can generally complete the program in 2 years.
