Rita Murray is the CEO of Performance Consulting Group (PCG), an energy services company specializing in identifying, designing and implementing innovative and cost-efficient energy infrastructure solutions. Operational leadership at GE, Lockheed Martin, Martin Marietta, and The University of Oklahoma prepared Murray for her role as a 21st century energy leader. Add to this description first generation American, professional speaker, national energy expert, TV Host, web producer, former top secret aerospace contractor, and private pilot and you begin a reasonable “picture” of Rita Murray. Murray brings a provocative and insightful perspective on these topics and more at the Peer Learning Network session scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Southern Nazarene University's Royce Brown Building Lecture Hall.
Murray is the author of “Survive and Thrive in a Multi-Generational World,” a personal guide to working with the four generations in the American workplace. Murray is also national Senior Associate with OKA, in Fairfax, Virginia, providing practitioner training for the ®Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the ®MBTI.
Currently Murray is completing a Ph.D. in Instructional Psychology and Technology (2009) at the University of Oklahoma. Her groundbreaking research on decision-making in the cockpit is reflective of the type of “cockpits” where we all live and work.
Murray and her husband, Ron Murray, PCG President, a 13,000+ hour pilot and highly decorated Vietnam Veteran, reside in Norman, Oklahoma. As Oklahoma State Co-Directors for the Bill Glass Champions for Life Prison Ministry, they also travel internationally with the ministry.
