SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WOMEN

Many scholarships are set aside for female students. Some of these scholarships are designated for specific majors, but many are for any female student attending college. Check carefully for qualifications and deadlines!

Scholarships for Women - Come to SNU

Toptal Scholarship for Women
Who:
Ambitious women, 16 years or older, who are passionate about making some meaningful change for a community or cause they care about
Amount: $10,000
Due: 03/31/2019

The Vandomian for Women
Who:
Any current female student
Amount: $1,000
Due: 01/05/2019

Daughters of the American Revolution
Who: Female students who are a member of a DAR chapter and who complete the application.
Amount: $5,000
Due: Spring

EngineerGirl Essay Contest
Who: Any high school female; to enter submit an essay that describes how engineering might change our lives over the next 50 years in one of the following areas: nutrition, health, communication, education, transportation.
Amount: $500
Due: Spring

Galactic Unite Blytheway Scholarship 
Major: Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) & STEM education
Who: Female students seeking answers to global challenges
Amount: $7,500 for one year; scholarship is renewable.
Due: Spring

PayScale’s Women in STEM Scholarship 
Who: Women in STEM
Amount: $2,000
Due: 1/31/2018

Rosenfeld Injury Lawyers’ Single Mother Scholarship
Who:
Women enrolled in an accredited high school, college or university in the U.S. Must be a mother who is attending school and must maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of a minimum of 3.0
Amount: $1,000

United Daughters of the Confederacy Scholarship
Who:
Women who are willing to apply to the local chapters of the U.D.C. for the multiple scholarships available.
Amount: Varies
Due: Spring and Winter

Zonta Educational Memoriam Award
Who: Any female student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours per semester at an accredited college or university
Amount: $1,500
Due: 09/30/2018
