BETHANY, OK (July 18, 2012) - Katie Sigler, Chair for the SNU School of Nursing, has been elected as President of the Oklahoma Emergency Nurses Association for 2012 and 2013.
Katie has been a registered nurse since 1981. During her nursing career, she has worked primarily in critical care, emergency department, administration and education. She is also a nurse practitioner and a trauma nurse specialist. Katie has served on both state and national committees for the Emergency Nurses Association.
The Oklahoma Emergency Nurses Association’s mission is to provide emergency nursing education for nurses in the state. As President, Katie’s focus is the provision of emergency nursing education for nurses employed in rural health care facilities throughout Oklahoma.
