Dr. Larry Silvey Memorial SNU Golf Classic

The tournament was established in memory of Dr. Larry Silvey, local doctor, alumnus, friend of Southern Nazarene University and an avid golfer.  Proceeds from the event help raise scholarship funds for SNU's premier pre-med and golf programs.  

Registration includes a scholarship contribution, 36 holes of golf, a light breakfast, a boxed lunch while play continues, and a culminating awards dinner.

The 36 holes of golf will be comprised of a "shamble" best ball in the morning and "foursome" scramble in the afternoon.

Also, we will again be breaking the field into 3 flights based upon a combined tournament performance of both morning and afternoon rounds, awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes in each flight.  With this format, golfers at every handicap will have a chance to compete for prizes in one of the 3 flights.

As always, during the afternoon scramble, a different prize will be awarded for each of the 18 holes.  Each golfer will receive special giveaways; prizes and awards will be presented immediately following the conclusion of the second round.

The deadline for Sponsorships is Friday, May 4, 2012.  Team Registrations are due by Monday, May 7, 2012. If we reach our maximum limit before then, a deadline date will not be necessary.
