SNU Red and White football game, Friday, August 28 and Fall 09 schedule

     Students, staff, faculty and parents of the Southern Nazarene University (SNU) community are invited to attend the Red and White game Friday, August 28 at 7:00 p.m. located at the SNU football stadium located on NW 50th Street in Bethany, just west of Council Road on the corner of 50th and N. Stinchcomb Ave.

“The focus for SNU football in the preseason has been on the process of becoming the best football players we can be, the best students we can be, and the best followers of Christ we can be,” said Mike Cochran, Head Football Coach at Southern Nazarene University.

“The most exciting thing about this year is how well these guys have come together. They have bought in to who we are and what we’re about as a program, and as a university. Teams like that can really generate their own momentum, and that’s the feeling I get from this group,” Cochran said of the young team.

“With renewed optimism, SNU is looking to get back on the winning track in 2009 under fourth-year head coach, Mike Cochran,” said Scott Secor, SNU Director of Sports Information at SNU.

The SNU Football Stadium is located approximately two miles west of the main SNU campus on Northwest 50th Street, just west of Council Road in Bethany. The stadium, facility and practice fields sit on 16 acres of land.
