SNU School of Music Hosts March Events

The Southern Nazarene University (SNU) School of Music is pleased to announce the hosting of a Master Class with SNU alumnus Ron Raines on Monday, March 24, 2014. Mr. Raines is internationally known as a star of stage and screen with an illustrious international career spanning the worlds of musical theater, opera, cabaret, classical music, and television. Held in Cantrell Music Hall from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., the Master Class is open to the public and more information is available by calling (405) 491-6345.

Another date that music lovers will want to plan for is the 7th Annual SNU Vocal Jazz Festival on Monday, March 31, 2014, featuring NYC Jazz Artist, Alison Wedding and the SNU University Singers. The SNU University Singers is an auditioned ensemble specializing in vocal jazz and contemporary styles. Ensemble clinics will be held throughout the day, and an evening concert will be presented free of charge in Herrick Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.  For more information on the festival call the SNU School of Music at (405) 491-6345.
