Southern Nazarene University (SNU) Graphic Design Seniors, Jeff Carden and Katie Simpson won SILVER at the Oklahoma City American Advertising Awards (ADDY®) for 2014 on Saturday, February 22nd. The Competition is a unique national awards program designed specially for college students.

Whitney Porch-VanHeuvelen, SNU Professor in the Art and Graphic Design Department shared that Jeff and Katie are shining examples of two students who have a passion for graphic design and continuously push themselves to produce the best work. “I'm so proud of them for putting themselves into the competitive arena of the 2014 Student American Advertising Awards where they competed against students from around the state. Winning silver Addy awards is just proof of the creative graphic designers they have become during their time at SouthernNazarene University."
The two seniors will have their award winning work on display, as well as their entire portfolios, in the SNU Fine Arts Building, Friday, February 28th from noon to 2 p.m.
