Dr. Mike Redwine led the search committee and noted there were over 60 applicants for the position. He thanked the committee for their hours of work and noted they spent much time in prayer before offering the position to May.

May has an impressive resume of coaching, and is an experienced coach in NAIA, NCAA Division I and II.  He brings this experience to SNU and the Crimson Storm. He took time to acknowledge mentors, coaches and faculty members at SNU and thanked them for their investment in his life.

When speaking about what is to come for him as a coach at SNU, May stated, “God is good.  I’m thankful and I’m ready for the future, I’m ready for what’s to come. I’m so ready to get back on the court, but in the meantime, I am very honored and thankful to everyone.  I pray that the Lord uses this for his glory.”

Coach May and his wife, Angie, have two sons, Grayson and Griffin. Join us in making them feel right at home at SNU!
