  • SNU Students Participate In NASA Space Grant Programs

    BETHANY, OK (September 25, 2013) - Four Southern Nazarene University science students recently participated in NASA Space Grant summer programs. Participants conducted research that they will present at the Geospatial Summer Fellowship Symposium, to be held at the University of Oklahoma this fall. Applicants from eight Oklahoma NASA Space Grant institutions were selected competitively and awarded a stipend for participation.   Full Story

  • Kyzer Named New Chief Academic Officer

    BETHANY, OK (July 9th, 2013) – With the unanimous affirmation by the Board of Trustees, Dr. Melany Kyzer has been named the new Chief Academic Officer at Southern Nazarene University.  Dr. Kyzer is a 28-year member of the SNU campus community.   Full Story

  • Students Head to London for Literary Field Study

    BETHANY, OK (March 12, 2013) - Next week, a group of students will be travelling to London as part of a literary field studies trip that is focused on analyzing literature through Post Colonialism. They will be visiting many landmarks and famous locations in London as well as spending some time in the cities of Bath and Oxford. This course focuses on the time period during Queen Victoria’s reign when England was building their vast empire.   Full Story
