Twenty-Third Annual “Chat with the Executive Day” Comes to SNU

BETHANY, OK (November 1, 2012) - The Twenty-Third Annual “Chat with the Executive Day” will be held at the School of Business of Southern Nazarene University on Friday, November 9, 2012.

The Royce Brown Business building will host the event and provide the opportunity for business executives from around the country to share their experiences with current students. The mission of “Chat Day” is to bridge the gap between academia and the “real world” All of the guests are distinguished alumni of the business program of Southern Nazarene University.

"I am really looking forward to the great lineup this year.” Prof. Cindy Powell, Professor of Finance, commented, “No finer opportunity exists for our students to borrow from the pool of life experiences than this Chat Day occurrence. This group of executives have a fabulous mix of successes,”

The speaker lineup this year includes the following:

  • Jereme Cowan, Attorney, Chesapeake, Oklahoma City, OK. 
  • Chris Brown, Captain, SkyWest Airlines, Denver, CO. 
  • Lyndel Lackey, Senior Tax Manager, Hogan and Taylor, Oklahoma City, OK. 
  • Jeff Eaton, Agent, State Farm Insurance, Enid, OK. 
  • Diallo West, Financial Services, AXA Advisors, Dallas, TX. 

According to Dr. Randall Spindle, Interim Chair of the School of Business, “This outstanding group of executives will bring a wealth of real world experience for our student’s educational growth.”

Sessions will be held at 8 am, 9 am and 11 am. All sessions are open to the public.
