American Culture & Conversation Travel with Americans

American Conversation Camp and Travel

We have a new summer program for internationals to speak and travel with Americans 4 hours every day and take 3 overnight trips with Americans. It will begin in July 6 and end August 15. It is a conversation camp where student will be in class one hour each day learning something about American culture and then for 4 hours in the afternoon, students will go to experience what they learned about in the morning. Each international student will be paired with an American college student for the 4 hours after lunch in order for them to practice speaking English during the afternoon. Three out-of-town trips are included. One is to learn about cowboys and the old west. One is to learn about native American Indians. The last is to learn about the government and history of the US.

The prices listed below include all expenses except food. Students will be placed with Americans in the dormitory apartments if they enroll soon enough; otherwise they will be placed with other international students in a suite with Americans. The enrollment deadline is June 15 at which time the full amount of tuition is due. We have to have the tuition paid at that time in order to make travel arrangements for all of the traveling we plan to do. If the class does not have 10 paid students on June 16, all moneys will be returned.
