BETHANY, OK -- The Office of University Advancement and Church Relations at Southern Nazarene University (SNU) is pleased to share with the Southern Nazarene University campus, friends, and community the newest team members in our department - The Media Strategies Team. The team consists of three professional staff members, two of whom served the SNU community previously in other roles. The team members are Kendra Thomson, Director of Media Strategies; Jonathan Meisner, Digital Media Specialist; and Patrick Marston, New Media Specialist. Meisner and Thomson join University Advancement & Church Relations in a move from the Office of Admissions. Marston is a recent alumnus of Southern Nazarene University and was employed by the university to begin his new role as the team was being formed.

They are highly talented, proven achievers who - in time - will meet and exceed the ambitious goals that have been established and usher in a new era of notoriety for SNU,” said Dr. Terry Toler, Vice President of University Advancement and Church Relations at Southern Nazarene University.
The Media Strategies Team members will be addressing strategic issues to:
?Establish an integrated positioning plan within the 2009-2010 academic year.
?Establish a clear vision for SNU’s image & reputation among key constituents of the University.
?Establish an organizational structure whereby the key SNU storytellers collaborate to communicate the value of SNU in compelling ways.
?Through all available mediums, place SNU in such a light that it inspires belief in the University.
The Team has already begun work on several projects. The Media Strategies Team office is located in renovated office space within the Evelyn Cantrell Guest House.
The Office of University Advancement & Church Relations, led by Dr. Terry N. Toler, Vice-President, and John F. Martin, Associate Vice-President, has adopted as its mission Inspiring Belief in SNU.
“These newest team members are already positively impacting our ability to spread inspiration and belief in SNU across the campus and the south central region of the United States”, said Martin.
