We plan to travel May 11-17 (Mon-Sun). The cost is $1750.00 for students and $1900.00 for non-students. This includes airfare/travel, hotel & admission costs. You would be responsible for meals, extra admissions of your choice & whatever you want to spend.

If you plan on taking the class, you will need to travel with us. But, anyone is welcome to travel with us without taking the class, so invite a friend to come along. The class is Eng 3193 Literary Field Studies, which will meet Tuesdays 4-6:10 PM for the last 8 weeks of next semester. This course does fulfill Track 3 and 4 GSE credit.

England... with a taste of France - May 2005

Enjoy the beauty of spring in England and France this coming May 16-27, 2005. Our tour will begin with a flight from OKC to London, where we’ll stay for seven days. We’ll visit many wonderful places in London, including Westminster Abbey, Hampton Court Palace, Parliament, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace and more. We’ll also take trips in the English countryside to Stratford-onAvon, Cambridge, Stonehenge and Bath.
Our Taste of France will begin with a high speed ferry trip from Portsmouth, England to Cherbourg, France. After landing in Normandy, we’ll visit important World War II sites, then continue on into Paris. While in Paris we’ll see Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, and will tour the Louvre and Versailles. We’ll fly home from Paris.

Students: $2,200
Adult non-students: $2,450
The cost includes air fare, hotels, coach tours, admission to all sites, the ferry trip, a Shakespearean play in London and a subway pass in London.
Come travel with us – it’s easy, educational and fun! The planning is done for you and we strive to make the trip enjoyable and memorable. Three SNU professors will be leading the trip: Dr. Peggy Poteet and Prof. Carolyn Waterman of the English Department, and Dr. Bob Lively of the History Department. We look forward to having you travel with us.
