November 7 - 8, 2014
Music. It’s more than a hobby. Chances are, you’ve spent many hours practicing, experimenting, perfecting, learning, performing, and now you’re ready to take the next steps toward a musical career. Whether you plan to teach children the joy of music, lead a congregation in praise, or record an artist’s latest hit, there is a lot to learn.
Mentors. We all need them. The SNU faculty will add their wisdom to yours, and connect you to the profession. Mentors also connect students with internships and performance opportunities to build your resume and give you real-world experience.
College. There are a lot of choices. What if you could “audition” a University to see if it’s right for you? What if you could “interview” faculty to see if they are the right mentors with the right connections? What if you had the opportunity to spend a couple of days on campus with music faculty and students, experiencing the spirit of the campus and the musical excellence of the department?
Faith. SNU is a community of faith-filled scholars. Faith permeates our lives, drives our passions, clarifies our calling. “All the world is a stage” as the saying goes, but we also recognize that “all the world is a mission field.” Opportunities for ministry are abundant, and regardless of venue, we want to help students understand their role in changing the world.
