BETHANY, Okla. (September 8, 2010) – Southern Nazarene University announces three new employees serving in marketing and communications roles, in 2 areas of the campus.

Cheryl Soerenson-Tuck is serving in Graduate Studies Management as the marketing coordinator. She will coordinate a marketing plan for the GSM program as well as bring new attention to the MBA and MSM programs. Tuck brings with her over 10 years experience in market plan building, sales, and different levels of staff management.
Laura Poff, serves as media coordinator for the Media Strategies Team. Her responsibilities will include news writing, press relations, social media and special events. Poff is a 2008 graduate of SNU and will use her knowledge of the campus to produce news releases relative to the campus and community.
Mike Jones, visual storyteller, will serve as the university’s primary videographer. Jones will use a variety of visual mediums to inspire belief in SNU. He will also work with other members of the Media Strategies Team to create effective public relations plans and exciting events. Prior to SNU Jones served as broadcast team leader at LifeChurch.tv and worked as a freelance Director of Photography with many national organizations including the Boy Scouts of America, FOX News and Discovery Channel.
