Bracken Hall has been renovated this summer and has been divided into two separate and secure living areas for men and women, North Bracken and South Bracken. The entire building has been repainted and is getting new doors and new carpet. The bathrooms in Bracken North have undergone a complete renovation including tile, flooring, paint, counter tops, mirrors and plumbing fixtures.
Chapman Hall received some minor updates with fresh paint, and new carpet in the areas most needed. New beds and dressers have been purchased for each unit. Additional improvements to Chapman Hall are planned for summer, 2010.
The Commons Storm Cellar café has taken on a new look. A new space for students to hang out inside of Pop’s Lounge has been updated. Upstairs, there will be 2 - 50” and 2 – 42” TV’s where students can catch up on headline news while having a meal. The university staff has been working to reconfigure the layout of the various stations in the main dining hall as well as introducing a new hydration station.
The above is just a few of the items of what’s new at SNU. For more information or questions about what is listed in this news, email email@example.com.

In keeping with the mission of SNU, the purpose of student development is to transform lives so that students can think with clarity, act with integrity, and serve with purpose. We provide many opportunities for students to become engaged in the community. As well, we provide numerous services that are focused on helping each student reach their full potential. This is achieved within the broader context of whole person education and takes place through structured developmental programs, formal counseling, informal student contact, and support of and participation in the university's academic program, all within the framework of a Christ-like community.
