SNU Presents "The Music Man" Musical

Southern Nazarene University’s School of Music, with a cast of over 30, will delight audiences with the classic musical "The Music Man," beginning Wednesday, November 4th and running through Saturday, November 7th in Herrick Auditorium, 6729 NW 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK  73008.

Guest Director Clayton Guiltner, along with Music Director Jim Graves, and Choreographer Barbara Berard will bring this story to life, promising a night of theatre that the whole family can enjoy!

The Music Man is the story of Harold Hill, a footloose con man who sets out to take advantage of the citizens of a small, turn-of-the-century Iowa town, but who instead is captivated and morally transformed by the townsfolk. Along the way, he falls in love with the town's lovely librarian and inspires all with the joy of music.

The Music Man won an Oscar for Best Music in 1963, featuring such well-known songs as "76 Trombones,"  "Ya Got Trouble," and "Goodnight Ladies."
