    Southern Nazarene University graduate Jessica Wheeler was recently named Oklahoma’s Young Music Educator of the Year. Jessica earned the Bachelor of Music Education degree at SNU in 2010 and is currently teaching at Classen School of Advanced Studies in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where her choirs have received Superior Ratings with over 100 students participating in multiple honor choirs.   • Southern Nazarene Sees Increase in Enrollment

    BETHANY, OK (September 20, 2012) – In a recent meeting of all faculty and staff who serve at Southern Nazarene University, Dr. Loren Gresham, President, announced that SNU’s fall enrollment stands as the third highest student count in the institution’s 114 year history. A traditional student enrollment of 1,096 and a census day record in Professional and Graduate Studies of 1,088, accounted for SNU’s fall enrollment total of 2,184.   Full Story

  • Bobby Gruenewald to Speak at Commencement

  • SNU McNair Scholar Awarded Fellowship

    McNair Scholar Tiajuan Miller has been awarded one of two McNair Fellowships at the University of Oklahoma for the 2011-2012 school year. Miller, who graduates from SNU in May with a degree in Family Studies & Gerontology, is an adult student who came to SNU for the degree completion program. He was accepted to the Master of Social Work program at OU to begin in Fall 2011.   Full Story
