Valerie Fisher, M.A.

Valerie has been with School for Children for 13. She stayed home for five years with her young children. She re-joined the Lower Primary Division in the Fall of 2004. Valerie is married to Mark Fisher. They have three children: Brandon, Ryan, and Brianna.

Miss Valerie finds joy in teaching new readers. She can often be found "lost in a book" that she's reading to the class. Valerie has experience in Reading Recovery and is very good at pin-pointing reading problems and finding solutions in early readers.

Miss Valerie loves spending time with her family. This lady knows how to get things done! An expert in her field of reading and literacy, she wants every student to love reading.
"I thoroughly enjoy being with children. The whole learning process is exciting to me. I love to see the "wheels turning" as kids process information and take ownership of their learning. I believe that God has created each child in a unique and special way to accomplish the purpose He has for them. I feel priviledged to be a part of this process."
