Dr. J. Keith Newman was elected as the fifteenth president in the 118 year history of Southern Nazarene University. His tenure as president began August 1, 2017 . With 17 years of pastoral ministry in the Church of the Nazarene and 15 years of service as a senior administrator in Christian higher education, Dr. Newman counts it a great privilege to join a Christ-centered community preparing God-called, purpose-driven, passionate servant leaders who make the world better.
Dr. Melany Kyzer - Under the leadership of Provost and Chief Academic Officer, the Office of Academic Affairs coordinates and supports the work of all the academic programs and services of Southern Nazarene University administered from five academic colleges.
Mr. Bobby Martin - Director of Athletics - Bobby Martin has served as the Director of Athletics at Southern Nazarene Universtiy for 38 years. He oversees 17 varsity intercollegiate programs as members of NCAA Division II and the Great American Conference. Martin’s office resides in the 4,000-seat Sawyer Center on the east side of campus.
Dr. Scott Strawn - The Office of Business & Financial Affairs exists to provide a variety of business and support services for SNU employees, students and constituents. The Vice President for Business & Financial Affairs serves as the chief financial officer for the University. This office also exists to provide overall supervision and coordination for various support areas.
Dr. Terry Toler is Vice President of Church Relations for Southern Nazarene University. He provides oversight to the areas of Church Relations, The Resource Center for Pastoral Leadership and The Zig Ziglar Center for Ethical Leadership. He serves as a member of the SNU Foundation.
Dr. Michael Redwine serves SNU as Vice President for Enrollment Services and Student Development. Now in his 10th year at SNU, Dr. Redwine leads a talented team with a breadth of responsibilities that include enrollment services, financial aid, athletics, spiritual development, residential living, student activities, health services, student success, student employment, and the RENEW counseling center.
Dr. Dennis Williams - Vice Provost for Planning and Institutional Effectiveness and Dean of Teaching and Learning, began his service to SNU in 1994 as a professor of history, and now supports the work of the university's staff and faculty to continuously improve the work of forging Christ-like disciples through higher education. His major areas of responsibility include strategic and integrated planning, faculty development, institutional research, and accreditation management.
Dr. Blair Spindle - Campus Pastor and Dean of the Chapel
Dr. Blair Spindle is a pastor who has given over 20 years to local church youth ministry. He began his ministry at SNU in 2012. Dr. Spindle is passionate about urging students towards life long commitments to Christ and His church.
The Office of University Advancement provides oversight to the areas of Development and Alumni. Under the direction of Executive Director Todd Brant, University Advancement is located in Bresee Hall.
