Baker, David Memorial Coaching Scholarship

  • Established by Mrs. Edna Baker, wife, Mr. Carl Sawyer, former players, with additional funding from family, friends, and former members of the SNU men’s basketball team, coached by David Baker
  • Any classification eligible to apply
  • Preference given to students preparing to coach in high school
  • Amount varies

Beaver, Prebble & Herman E. Memorial Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Mrs. Prebble Beaver, wife Dr. Joy (Beaver) Beaver, and Mrs. Doris (Beaver) Schumann, daughters; and friends
  • Provides an annual grant to an athlete with a preference for the men's basketball program
  • Candidates must have a minimum ACT score of 18, a minimum GPA of 2.5 for their previous 24 credit hours, and exhibit qualities of being "a responsible Christian person"
  • Amount varies

Billings, Donald & Jerre Memorial Scholarship

  • Established by Dr. Don Billings, with enhancement gifts by the friends and family of Dr. & Mrs. Don Billings, and the Bequest of Donald A. Billings
  • Provides supplemental scholarships for members of the SNU Women's Softball and Basketball Programs
  • Amount varies

Coggins, Mary F. Women’s Tennis Scholarship

  • Established by Mrs. Mary Coggins & Dr. Wanda Rhodes
  • Restricted to Freshman female members of the SNU Women’s Varsity Tennis Team

Cypert, Claud & Betty Scholarship

  • Established by Claud & Betty Cypert
  • Any classification eligible to apply
  • Restricted to a Varsity Member of the SNU Men’s or Women’s Athletic Programs

Harmon, Wes Memorial Soccer Scholarship

  • Established and funded by the friends, and former players, of Coach Wes Harmon, professor emeritus
  • Provides additional funds for varsity athletic scholarships for members of the SNU varsity soccer program
  • Amount varies

Harmon, Modelle Memorial Women's Soccer Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Coach Wes Harmon, with additional memorial funds from the family, friends, and former players of Coach Harmon & Mrs. Modelle Harmon, and the remainder from the Wes Harmon Trust
  • Provides additional funds for varsity scholarships for members of the SNU Women's Varsity Soccer Program
  • Amount varies

Rhodes, Dr. Wanda Women’s Tennis Scholarship

  • Established and funded by Dr. Wanda Rhodes and Dr. & Mrs. Farris Coggins
  • Provides aid for a member of SNU Women’s Varsity Tennis Team
  • FRESHMEN not eligible
  • Amount varies

Snowbarger, Lois & Vernon Memorial Scholarship

  • Established by Dr. Vernon Snowbarger, with additional funds from the Vernon Snowbarger Trust
  • Any classification eligible to apply
  • Provides additional support for SNU Varsity Basketball Programs

SNU Athletic Endowment

  • Established by Mr. Carl Sawyer, with additional funding from former players and supporters of the SNU Athletic Programs
  • Supports SNU Athletic programs
  • Awarded by individual coaches

SNU Varsity Golf Scholarship

  • Established by an anonymous friend of the SNU Golf Program
  • Selected by the SNU Golf Coach
  • Amount Varies

Tullis, Dr. Lyle & Dawn Memorial Scholarship

  • Established by Dr. Rex Tullis, son; with additional funds from his friends and former students, and the Bequest of Dr. Lyle Tullis
  • Any classification eligible to apply
  • Provides aid to a member of the SNU Women’s Varsity Basketball Team
