Campus Sex Crime Prevention Act & Register of Sex Offenders
In conjunction with the Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act, Section 1601 of Public Law: 106-386 (H.R. 3244), law enforcement agencies were authorized to release sex offender information to the public. Additionally, in October, 2002, the U.S. Department of Education issued regulations instructing institutions of higher education to advise the campus community where law enforcement agency information concerning registered sex offenders may be obtained. A list of Class A registered sex offenders is provided as a service to the community on the following websites:

A current registry of sex offenders living within the city limits of Bethany is maintained and frequently updated at the Bethany Police Department. A copy of the current report is available upon request from Police department personnel at 6700 NW 35th. Phone: 789-2323.
