When is the Library open?

During the spring and fall semesters, the library is open Monday-Thursday 7:45 a.m. - midnight, Friday 7:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Sunday 7:30 p.m. - midnight. For closures and exceptions, like summer or holiday hours, please visit our hours page

Where is the Library located?

Where can I return books when the Library is closed?

A book drop is located near the east and west entrances of the library for returning books when the library is closed.

How do I get a library card at the Metropolitan Library System? 

Take your SNU student ID card and identification showing your permanent residence (driver's license) to the Bethany Branch of the Metropolitan Library System and apply for a library card that can be used anywhere in the Metropolitan Library System (Oklahoma City and Oklahoma County).  For more information and directions, go to the Bethany Library website.   

I'm a distance student at another Christian university. Can I borrow materials from the SNU Library?

The SNU Library is a member of the Association of Christian Librarians' Reciprocal Borrowing Program. If your school is on the list of participating libraries, you can check out books from the SNU Library! If you'd like to check books out under this partnership, please follow the 'Borrowing Procedures' on the above website.
