These scholarships are for students who are playing sports in college or who played sports in high school. Often, funders are seeking applicants who not only demonstrate athletic excellence, but also academic excellence and community service.

Big Sun ScholarshipScholarships for Athletes at SNU
 
Who: 
Any high school senior or college athletes
Amount: Up to $500
Due: Spring

Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship 
Who: Applicants demonstrating a strong caddie record, financial need, academic excellence, and outstanding character; preference given to those submitting on or before September 30
Amount: varies

Foot Locker Scholar Athletes Program
Who: high school seniors entering a four-year accredited U.S. college or university in the fall of 2017 who are also involved in Sports.
Amount: up to $25,000

United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Scholarships
Who: USBC members demonstrating leadership and academic excellence
Amount: up to $6,000
Due: Spring

Tall Clubs International Scholarship
Who: Applicants under 21 years of age, entering their first year of college, and meeting minimum height requirements (women: 5’10”; men: 6’2”)
Amount: $1,000
Due: Spring
