Southern Nazarene University - Character Culture Christ

Spiritual Life on Campus

Spiritual Life at SNU is seeking to create Christ-centered community on campus by initiating and nurturing authentic relationships with Jesus and others, discipling students towards holiness and maturity, gathering students for corporate worship, and involving students in compassionate service to others. Students will be constantly challenged to engage in a local church community as they weave together their educational experiences, their Christian faith, and their future vocational endeavors.

The Campus Pastors

Our staff of pastors offers pastoral care and Christian leadership to the students of Southern Nazarene University. Our Christian faith is woven into the fabric of our institution.

Chapel

Chapel is a twice-weekly mandatory gathering for the entire campus community. We gather to worship, to find renewal and rest, to be challenged with the Word of God, and to hear from gifted and devoted speakers.

Discipleship

We want to equip our students for authentic Christian growth. This happens through mentoring opportunities; staff and student led small groups, and other programs like the Faith & Film Forum.
