American Legion Legacy Scholarship
Who: Children of active duty military, National Guard, and reservists who died on active duty on or after Sept. 11, 2001
Amount: to be announced each year, up to $37,000

ANCA Scholarship Program
Nursing students who are currently or have previously served in the US Army (including the National Guard and Reserve) and who are not receiving funding through the US Army (GI Bills), or those who have received an Honorable Discharge; or the parent, spouse, or child of a person who is currently or has previously served in the US Army
Amount: $3,000

Anthony Castelli Attorney’s Veteran’s College Scholarship
Who: Current military veterans or family of current military veteran. Must be willing to write a 750 - 1000 word essay.
Amount: $500

CIC Veterans Scholarship
Who: Veterans who have dealt with a disability and are willing to write a 500 word essay over what obstacles had to be overcome.

Veterans pursuing a degree in a STEM program

Donaldson D. Frizzell Scholarship
Who: Members and family members of US uniformed services

Folds of Honor Scholarship
Who: children and spouses of those killed or disabled while in service
Amount: Up to $5,000
Due: Spring

Google SVA Scholarship
Who: Veterans who are pursuing a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree (or a degree in a closely related field)
Amount: $10,000 (8 available)
Due: Fall

Heroes Tribute Scholarship Programs
Who: Children of active duty or reserve Marine who was honorably discharged or killed while serving, or of active duty or reserve Navy Corpsman serving, or who served with an honorable discharge, or was killed while serving; some grandchildren may also be eligible
Amount: $6,000 or higher a year over 4 years
When: Spring

Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant
Who: children of armed forces member who died as a result of post-9/11 military service in Iraq or Afghanistan

Karman Healthcare
For students who have a mobility disability, the entry would be an essay or poem, the next deadline the theme is to create a presentation of how disability laws can be improved in the US.

Sports Clips Help a Hero Scholarship
Who: Retired, honorably discharged, active duty, or members of the National Guard or Reserve with a military rank of E-5 or below
Amount: up to $5,000
Due: April 30 and November 15

The Fisher House Foundation Scholarship
Who:  The Fisher House Foundation Scholarship is open only for the dependent unmarried children of active military who are under 23 years of age and have also earned a graduate or undergraduate degree.
