SNU Celebrates One Hundred Eighteenth Commencement on May 8
SNU is excited to announce plans for the 118th Commencement Ceremonies on May 8th. The Commencement Ceremonies will take place in SNU’s Sawyer Center with doors opening one hour before each service. The College of Undergraduate Studies graduates will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Professional Studies graduates at 2 p.m., and master’s graduates at 6 p.m. This year’s event will feature commencement speaker Dr. Gary Morsch, SNU alum, family physician, author of 6 books, visionary founder of Heart to Heart International and Docs Who Care, providing medical care to the needy around the world, and retired Army Colonel.
Due to COVID restrictions and space limitations, the May 8 commencement will only involve May 2021 graduates. Plans will be announced in the early fall for post-COVID in-person opportunities for graduates who were part of the virtual services in 2020.
